By downloading, installing, or using Neto ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.
These Terms apply to all users of Neto, including users on the free trial and users with a paid licence.
Neto is a downloadable software product that runs on a Raspberry Pi and monitors WiFi network performance. It is distributed as a disk image (.img) file and installed by writing it to a microSD card. All data collected by Neto is stored locally on your Raspberry Pi — nothing is sent to our servers except for licence validation requests.
Neto is a software licence, not a managed service. We do not operate any servers on your behalf, access your network, or store your WiFi data.
Subject to your payment of the applicable fees (or use of the free trial), we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
A licence covers one active installation at a time. You may transfer your licence to a different Pi by deactivating it from the Licence page in the dashboard.
You may not:
The Neto dashboard is protected by a username and password that you set during the setup wizard. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your dashboard credentials. We recommend changing the default credentials immediately after setup.
The dashboard is only accessible from your local network by default. Remote access is your responsibility to configure securely.
Neto includes a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment information is required to start the trial. The trial begins on the date of your first login to the dashboard.
At the end of the trial period, the dashboard will require a valid licence key to access. Your historical data and settings are preserved and will be accessible once a licence is activated.
Paid licences are available on monthly, annual, and lifetime plans. Payments are processed securely by our payment processor. We do not store your payment card details.
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase if you are not satisfied with Neto, no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Refund requests are eligible if:
To request a refund, email support@neto.network with your order number and the email address used at purchase. We will process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
You may cancel a monthly or annual subscription at any time from the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time on a cancelled subscription unless requested within the 14-day refund window.
Refunds will not be issued for:
In cases of genuine technical issues that we are unable to resolve, we will consider refunds outside the standard window at our discretion.
We provide software updates for Neto via the built-in OTA update system. Updates may include bug fixes, new features, and security improvements. We do not guarantee a specific update schedule.
Support is provided by email at support@neto.network. We aim to respond within 1 business day (Monday–Friday, ACST).
Lifetime licence holders receive updates for the lifetime of the product. We reserve the right to discontinue the product with reasonable notice.
Neto stores all monitoring data locally on your Raspberry Pi. We do not collect, store, or process your WiFi performance data on our servers.
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the licence system: your email address, licence key, and device identifier. This data is used solely for licence validation and to send transactional emails (receipts, licence keys). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Neto is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
WiFi performance data collected by Neto is for informational purposes only. We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of the data for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Software.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for your licence in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may terminate or suspend your licence if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Software ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability and disclaimers) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or by email. Your continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
